Allyssa JaLeigh Rasmussen, a bright and beloved 12-year-old from Ephraim, Utah, passed away on March 14, 2025, leaving her family, friends, and community heartbroken.
In her short life, Allyssa touched the hearts of many with her kindness, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit. She was a cherished daughter, sister, friend, and student, known for her warmth and the joy she brought to those around her. Her love for life, curiosity, and caring nature made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
To honor Allyssa’s memory and show support for her family and the community, North Sanpete Middle School has invited everyone to wear blue on Monday, symbolizing love, remembrance, and unity.
Funeral Plans
Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ephraim Stake Center, located at 400 East Center Street. Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects during viewings scheduled for Thursday, March 20, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. before the service.
Following the funeral, Allyssa will be laid to rest at the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Rasmussen Mortuary.
During this difficult time, the outpouring of love and support from the community is a testament to the impact Allyssa had in her young life. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
